4- Spending review: government approves 1 billion cuts to ministries

The Council of Ministers has approved the Dpcm which reduces the expenditure of the ministries for the three-year period 2018-20. The proposals from the ministries to reduce expenditure by 1 billion a year must reach the Ministry of Economy by 20 July. Expenditure on immigration, poverty, natural disasters and investments are excluded from the cuts. Green light also for the reform of the Third Sector. Read the full article.

5- Bills: from 1 July electricity increases, but gas drops

Due to the heat and the increase in consumption, the gas bill will rise by 2,8% - The gas bill will drop by 2,9%, from October 2016 to September 2017, saving 40 euros per family. Read the full article.
