German industrial production falls. The relative seasonally adjusted data for the month of May, in fact, made the mark a 1% drop from April, to which is added a similar decrease also on an annual basis, as noted by the German Institute of Statistics. Disappointed analysts, who expected a smaller contraction, at 0,5% on a monthly basis.

According to the German Statistical Institute, industrial production in Germany fell by 1% in May both on a monthly and on an annual basis – disappointing analysts' expectations.
