The new competition in school it will do. On Thursday 19 December, the Senate Hall gave the final green light to the decree law which provides for the recruitment of 24 teachers in first and second grade secondary schools. The text, already passed to the Chamber, was definitively approved in Palazzo Madama with 160 votes in favor and 121 against. The government had raised the issue of trust on the measure.
SCHOOL COMPETITION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF 24 THOUSAND TEACHERS
In detail, the decree provides that by 2019 an extraordinary procedure will be called - for qualifications and exams - aimed at the qualification and recruitment of 24 teachers in lower and upper secondary schools. The procedure will be launched at the same time as a new ordinary competition.
INCREASES THE OBLIGATION TO STAY
In addition, the provision increases the obligation to stay in the school owned from three to five years.
SCHOOL COLLABORATORS: RAIN OF STABILIZATION
As regards school collaborators, the 11.263 employees with at least 10 years of permanent service in companies currently engaged in cleaning services in schools will be stabilized.

News also on the University front, with the duration of the national scientific qualification rising from six to nine years.
EXTENSION FOR FIRST AND SECOND RANGE PROFESSORS
The text then contains a two-year extension, until 31 December 2021, for the faculty, attributed to universities, to proceed with the call as first and second tier professors of subjects already in service in the same university.
STAFF PUBLIC RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS
Finally, provisions are envisaged for the stabilization of personnel of public research bodies.
