Cassa Depositi e Prestiti start a new phase of its activity in support of the Italian entrepreneurial fabric, extending for the first time theaccess to direct credit also for small and medium-sized enterprises with turnover included between 25 and 50 million euros. With the Strategic Plan 2025-2027, entitled “Today, for the Italy of the future”, CDP goes beyond the operating model based exclusively on banking intermediation and alternative finance, opening up to dedicated and customized tools to support the growth of SMEs, particularly those active in ESG, innovation and territorial development.
The goal is to broaden the scope of public support to the most dynamic companies, accompanying them in their investment projects and strengthening their competitiveness on national and international markets. In this context, CDP is also strengthening its presence in the territory, with an evolution of the organizational model capable of offering greater proximity to local companies and stakeholders.

The first operations start from Campania
Le top three companies to benefit from the new operation they come from the South, especially from CampaniaThese are Movisid, Tecfi and Casaro del Re, three industrial companies active in strategic sectors such as metallurgy, mechanics and agri-food.
Movivid, which operates in the distribution and processing of non-precious metals, has obtained a 3,5 million euro loan, intended for the construction of a new industrial site in Nola (NA) and the purchase of innovative machinery. The same amount was assigned to Tecfi, specialized in the production of metal fastening systems, which will use the resources to expand the Pastorano (CE) plant with a low environmental impact building and new production lines. King's Cheesemaker, a company of the Fattorie Garofalo Group, has received financing through a joint operation between Cdp, UniCredit, Intesa Sanpaolo and Sace (via Growth guarantee). The capital will be used to enhance the operational and logistical capacity of the company, strengthening the competitiveness of the dairy brand at a global level.
