The increase in the stock market of the brake manufacturer continues, which in 2014 saw profits grow by 45% – A dividend of 80 cents is proposed.

The last session of the week got off to a good start for Brembo stock, which at the start rose by 2,4%, to 35,71 euros, after the +4,4% recorded at the end of yesterday's session. Shares of the leading international manufacturer of braking systems gained 9,27% ​​in the last month, 28,36% in the half year and 61,07% on an annual average. 

The latest increases are linked to the balance sheet data communicated yesterday by the brake manufacturer, which closed 2014 with a net income up 45% (at 129,1 million), while the EBITDA it registered a +31,1% (to 279,8 million) e the turnover a +15,1% (to 1.803 million). The net debt at the end of 2014 it dropped to 270,4 million. “Orders in the portfolio confirm a good start also for the first part of the year”, reads the note.

Brembo's Board of Directors will propose an 80-cent dividend, of which 60 ordinary in payment from 20 May and 20 extraordinary (on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the listing on the Stock Exchange) in payment from 8 July. Last year the coupon was 50 cents.

Lastly, the company led by Alberto Bombassei will request authorization to purchase up to 1,6 million treasury shares, equal to around 2,4% of the capital, for a period of 18 months. To date, the company holds 2,6%.
