A constantly growing market phenomenon: from 16 million hectoliters twenty years ago to 21 today
“A recent study published by Oiv – he says Francesco D'Agostino, Director of Cucina & Vini – analyzes the global production and consumption of wines as a function of color and which tells us, numbers in hand, such as i rosé wines continue their constant progression which in twenty years has led them to grow from just over 16 million hectoliters to almost 21 million. During the same period red wine has lost its beauty by 25%, reaching approximately 110 million hectoliters in 2021, while the white wine stands at the result of twenty years ago, 130 million hectoliters, thanks above all to the strong push of sparkling wines. It is clear that in its growth pink wine is taking market share away from red wine, managing to meet an unconditional appreciation and, above all, a generalized interest that also involves the younger public".
Like every year, Bererosa will take place with the Walk Around Tasting formula, which will allow the public to taste labels of absolute value while walking freely in the enchanting Villa Appia Antica. Among these are Villani cured meats, a history of great Italian delicatessen that began in 1886 in a small village in the province of Modena and is now present in the most important international markets. Il Pescatorio, a Roman company specializing in raw and cooked fish preparations, and La Bottega dell'Oliva Ascolana with typical fried foods from the Marche will contribute to making the food area even more lively and delicious.
