Apple plays all out by announcing four new services that aim to revolutionize the universe of the bitten Apple - Here are the news from Cupertino.

Apple: from TV to video games, all the news in 4 points

The mystery has been revealed. At the Steve Jobs Theater, Apple presented the novelties that Cupertino will bring to the market in 2019, trying to offset the falling sales of iPhones and iPads. We will have to wait for the response from the public to understand if the new services will be able to carry out the revolution promised by Tim Cook, but what is certain is that there are many changes: from Apple News+ to video games, via the Apple Card and, above all, for the Apple TV.

Let's see them one by one.

APPLE NEWS+: WHAT IT IS AND HOW IT WORKS

“Apple News is the first information app in the world,” explains Tim Cook and will allow you to read about three hundred magazines and three newspapers – Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal e The Star – directly from the Apple News App. It will be a subscription-based service. The cost? $9,99 a month.

Like the other news announced on March 25, Apple News+ will initially be available only in the US and Canada. It will arrive in Australia and the UK at the end of the year. Italy will therefore have to wait, but it will be in good company.

APPLE CARD: THE CREDIT CARD MADE IN CUPERTINO

Apple has decided to launch its credit card which will improve and integrate the services already offered by Apple Pay, Apple's payment management service.

According to what has been announced, using Apple Card, a physical titanium card, users will be able to count on many additional services and also win Daily Cash, a kind of money "rewards" that can be obtained simply by carrying out transactions: Apple Card will be loaded in money 2% of each transaction made through Apple Pay, 3% if purchases are made directly on the Apple Store. The user will not pay any fees.

Apple Card is integrated into the Apple wallet and within the app it will be possible to consult all the metrics on expenses, there will be the possibility to request assistance via chat and to locate the various transactions carried out on the map. The expenses will be divided by category and represented with a different colour.

Apple Card will be issued by Goldman Sachs, it will be usable on the Mastercard circuit and in shops that do not yet accept payments with Apple Pay.

Apple Card will arrive on the US market during the summer.

APPLE ARCADE: THE APPLE LANDS IN THE WORLD OF VIDEO GAMES

"iOS has become the largest gaming platform in the world," announces Cook emphatically passing the presentation of Apple Arcade.

To date, continues the number one from Cupertino, there are already 1 billion gamers who download the 300 games available from the app store. Apple has therefore thought of playing at home with Arcade, a subscription service (the price is not yet known), included in iTunes, which will allow you to play using the contents both online and offline. There will be over 100 exclusive titles. There will be no advertising and it will be available from autumn 2019 in 150 countries.

APPLE TV: THE CHALLENGE AGAINST NETFLIX

It was the most awaited novelty. “Our vision for Apple TV: Put your favorite shows in one place, on one device. Today we introduce the new tv app,” says Cook.

Apple TV will be a system through which Cupertino will distribute movies and video content.

The news comes gradually. The first is Apple TV Channels, a service that will allow you to watch original content from various channels and streaming services (including partners HBO, Showtime Starz, Epix, Cbs All Access) by subscribing only to those you want to follow.

We then move on to Apple TV+, an exclusive streaming content platform. Apple therefore launches into the world of TV series, films and documentaries, officially launching its challenge to Netflix.

Steven Spielger and Oprah Winfrey will also produce content. Already presented a TV series with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon on the hosts of a popular TV show and a post-apocalyptic series with Alfre Woodard and Jason Momoa, See.
