Open Fiber consolidates its role in the European fiber optic connectivity landscape thanks to new appointments within the FTTH Council Europe, the leading association for the development of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks in Europe.

At the general assembly, which renewed the organization's governance and expanded its scope of activities, three representatives of the company led by Giuseppe Gola assumed key roles. Francesco Nonno, Director of Regulation and European Affairs at Open Fiber, has been appointed Vice President of Public Affairs of the Board, contributing to strengthening dialogue with European institutions and the development of policies favorable to the diffusion of fiber optics.

Domenico Dichiarante, Head of Residential Marketing at Open Fiber, has been confirmed as Chair of the Market Intelligence Committee, which monitors and collects data on the evolution of the connectivity market, while Francesco Rotunno, Head of European Affairs at Open Fiber, has been appointed Chair of the Investments & ESG Committee, which promotes the role of sustainability and dialogue with investors.

These appointments are part of a phase of evolution for the FTTH Council Europe, which is expanding its scope into new strategic areas of connectivity. In this context, Open Fiber's presence in the association's key decision-making bodies confirms the company's active contribution to the development of the sector at the European level.
