Franchetti SpA (Ticker BIT: FCH), a multinational company specializing in advanced diagnostics, digitalization and predictive maintenance solutions for infrastructures, announces that the ECR Group, formed by the Brazilian companies ECR Engenharia Ltda. and ECR Tecnologia e Engenharia Ltda., of which Franchetti acquired 55% of the share capital in March 2026 through a subsidiary under Brazilian law, has further strengthened its order book in Brazil through the acquisition of new contracts in the road infrastructure sector.
This commercial dynamic confirms the strategic role of Brazil in the international growth path of the Franchetti Group and contributes to bringing the Group's consolidated backlog exceeds 100 million euros, significantly strengthening visibility into future revenue.
Among the new activities acquired by ECR, it is worth noting its involvement in the project for the construction of the new road link between Avenida Jornalista Roberto Marinho and Rodovia dos Imigrantes, in the southern part of the city of São Paulo. The work was entrusted to Acciona, a multinational group headquartered in Spain and a leading global operator in the construction and management of large infrastructure projects, represents a particularly important client for the Franchetti Group, also in relation to its international development path and the strengthening of its presence in foreign markets.
The intervention, with an overall estimated budget of approximately R$ 2,4 billion – equivalent to over 400 million euros at the current exchange rate – falls within Objective 36 of the 2025-2028 Objectives Program of the city of São Paulo and represents one of the main infrastructural redevelopment projects in the southern area of the Brazilian metropolis.
As part of the assignment, ECR will be involved in the design activities and specialized engineering services relating to three viaducts and two tunnels envisaged by the project, integrating vertical technical expertise on the works of art with the use of advanced digital methodologies and tools. The design phase of the works will have an expected duration of about 16 months and will also be developed through the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, promoting integrated management of the infrastructure's technical, design, and documentary data.
ECR's involvement will extend to technical support activities throughout the project's construction cycle.
In this context, Franchetti will support the Brazilian subsidiary by providing its specialized skills and the proprietary technologies developed by the Group, with particular emphasis on the digitalization of engineering processes, structured management of infrastructure data, BIM integration, and the evolution towards digital models of the project that can also be used for future digital inspection, automated diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.
The Group's approach aims to transform traditional engineering activities for bridges, viaducts, and tunnels into a technologically integrated process, where design, data, digital models, inspections, and predictive analytics can contribute to infrastructure management throughout its entire lifecycle. This positioning allows Franchetti to combine ECR's engineering expertise with a proprietary technology platform focused on scalability, process standardization, and the creation of recurring value in infrastructure management.
The acquisition of new orders by ECR confirms the solidity of the Franchetti Group's positioning in the Brazilian market and represents a further step in the process of building an international platform specialized in advanced infrastructure management, capable of combining engineering expertise, proprietary technology, BIM, data, digital tools, and applied intelligence to support the entire life cycle of projects.
