Slow travel as a tourist experience

With the new connections the FS Foundation aims to strengthen the role of historic trains in tourism and cultural promotion of the territories. Vintage trains thus become a link between large cities, small villages, landscapes, and local productions, transforming travel into an experience to be enjoyed at a slower pace.

The goal is to offer travelers a different way to discover Piedmont and Lombardy, combining railway memories with the food and wine heritage of the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato regions.
