The comparison also has a geopolitical dimension. The satellite constellations are becoming critical infrastructure for telecommunications, defense, logistics, emergency management. Governments and large companies are trying to avoid excessive dependence on a single operator, and Amazon's presence could rebalance a sector so far dominated by SpaceX.

Leo presents itself as a credible alternative precisely because it can count on AWS's industrial engine, an advantage that no other operator can replicate.

Amazon Leo joins the global network
