Positive opening for Wall Street on Monday morning. Stock markets continue to accelerate and the S&P 500 – the index formed by the 500 US companies with the largest capitalization – exceeds the threshold of 2500 points (+0,26% to 2506,47). The Dow Jones also did well, gaining 0,2% and the Nasdaq, +0,4%.
The positive momentum on Wall Street therefore continues, with the Dow Jones scoring the fourth consecutive closing record in Friday's session. The easing of tensions in North Korea is the driving force behind the trend.
The day's agenda does not offer particular ideas capable of changing the growth trend of trading, but the markets are anxiously awaiting the Fed meeting, which will take place between Tuesday and Wednesday, on the start of the institution's balance sheet reduction program central. Janet Yellen will also announce economic estimates and clarify strategies for the near future.
