Vouchers and tenders: referendum 28 May

This was decided by the Council of Ministers, but the political maneuvering spaces are not yet exhausted: the CGIL dictates its conditions to avoid consultation on good jobs

Vouchers and tenders: referendum 28 May

Referendums on vouchers and tenders will be held on Sunday 28 May. This was established by the Council of Ministers, which on Tuesday approved "the decree for the calling of popular referendums - reads the note from Palazzo Chigi - relating to the abrogation of provisions limiting joint liability in the field of procurement and the abrogation of provisions on ancillary work (voucher)".

Yet, apparently there is still the possibility that he will miss the consultation on vouchers. Susanna Camusso explained it in an interview with La Repubblica. The secretary of the CGIL, the union that promoted the referendum, said that the confederation would be willing to take a step back on the vote if the parliament allowed the use of vouchers only to families and "to pay the occasional service of the long-term unemployed duration, retirees and students”. Provided, moreover, that the INPS remains the exclusivity on the sale.

The provision, approved by the government and presented to Parliament on 10 March and now under study, however, expects more.
