Usa, Adp estimates +175 jobs in January: lower than expected

A figure lower than expected for the stars and stripes labor market. The ADP (Automatic Data Processing, the American agency that takes care of preparing payroll) showed a growth of 175 new jobs in the month of January. But in the forecasts for employment in the private sector, analysts had expected an increase of 189 jobs. The decrease is clear compared to the previous survey, equal to 238 thousand units.

After the release of the data, the reaction of Wall Street is negative, where futures widen the losses. A new decline, following a rebound that allowed the S&P 500 to recover from Monday's drop, the largest since last June. This triggered dollar selling on the one hand, which fell below the key threshold of 101 yen, and dollar buying on the other. The non-manufacturing ISM remains on the calendar while expectations are rising for the employment report that the US government will release on Friday and relating to last month.

S&P 500 futures slip 0,4%, as do Nasdaq futures. Dow Jones futures slip 0,3%. Oil in March filed its gains, now equal to +0,43% to 97,61 dollars a barrel. Gold in April advanced by 1,66% to 1.272 dollars an ounce.
