Unicredit in collaboration with AICCON, Politecnico di Milano – Tiresia, POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Fondazione Italiana Accenture and TechSoup, presents the second edition of the "Road to Social Change" training course: the project - totally free - which sees the third sector, the social economy and the world "For Profit" working together in pursuing a perspective of integral sustainability.
The objective of the 2022 edition is to stimulate cooperation between Italian Profit and Non-Profit organizations with a view to integral sustainability, focusing on the issue of training new professional skills necessary for the growth of social enterprises.
Il Third sector it generates a turnover of around 80 billion euros, close to 5% of GDP, involves 360 institutions, employs over 860 people and is a constantly evolving sector, capable of creating important employment opportunities. He said it Maximilian Mastalia, corporate manager of Unicredit Italia, adding that the initiative aims precisely to "create connections between non-profit associations and the business world to stimulate social entrepreneurship capable of ensuring the well-being of communities, as well as enhancing the processes of change that start from the bottom, thanks to new professional figures who can help social enterprises to seize the new opportunities that will present themselves".
Road to Social Change 2022: the path
The initiative promoted by Unicredit will be developed through 5 national Digital Talks (in addition to today's one on the theme of integral sustainability, the next meetings will focus on the topics of digitalisation, the green revolution and sustainable mobility, welfare and, lastly, territorial health) and a closing event and award ceremony which will have the missions of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and will also be developed through the narration of concrete experiences and testimonies from the Italian territories.
As an integral part of the process, the project also includes a "Call", which will start on 1 September, to stimulate and reward projects that provide effective synergies between Profit and Non-Profit. Initiatives capable of generating social impact and triggering territorial development processes will be awarded, pursuing the missions of the PNRR with a view to Integral Sustainability, which will be dealt with in the Digital Talks.
Furthermore, the participants in the course will obtain theOpen Badge of Social Change Manager, a digital certification of acquired knowledge, skills and competences, issued by POLIMI Graduate School of Management. The core competencies of Social change manager they will allow him to support and co-design sustainable business models and identify the digital technologies suitable for generating a positive impact on the community.
