Albert Mario Griselli is the new CEO of Tim Brasil. The company announced this in a note specifying that the appointment is effective immediately. Griselli takes the place of Peter Labriola, who became Tim's general manager last December after the resignation of former CEO Luigi Gubitosi and was officially appointed CEO of the Tlc company on 21 January.
Fifty-two years old, an electrical engineer, Griselli holds an FMBA from Columbia University. He has been working in the telecommunications sector for over 20 years, holding important positions in South America including that of Vice President of TIMwe, a global provider of mobile engagement solutions for telecommunications operators, and Managing Director of the consultancy firm Value Partners.
In addition to the position of CEO, Griselli will also continue to hold the position of Chief Revenue Officer of Tim Brasil, which he has held since 30 July 2019. "Alberto Griselli does not hold Tim SpA shares," the company underlines in a note.
In the mid-afternoon, in Piazza Affari, the Telecom Italia stock it gains 1,83% of its value, rising to 0,4238 euro, after having reached an intraday high of 0,425 euro. On the Bovespa, the share of the Brazilian subsidiary travels instead up by 0,38%.
