The agreement for the was signed this morning Stellantis contract renewal, but also those of Cnh Industrial, Iveco e Classic Ferrari for sale. It is the first of the Stellantis era and the first after the separation of Iveco and CNH.

The agreement was signed this morning in Turin at the Industrial Union with the unions Fim, Uilm, Fismic, Acqfr and Uglm and concerns just under 70 thousand workers: 47 from Stellantis, 4.300 from Cnh, 18.800 from Iveco and 4.800 from Ferrari. For everyone there will come one salary increase equal to 207 euros gross per month.

The new contract will last 4 years for the regulatory part and 2 years for the economic one.

Stellantis contract: monthly increase of 207 euros

According to the provisions, in the two-year period the minimum paychecks will be increased by 11,3% for a total of over 207 euros per month.

In detail, the agreement establishes that, starting from March, employees in Italy will receive a payroll increase of 6,5% - with an average increase of 119 € which is added to the 2% already disbursed last year. From January 2024 there will be a further increase of 4,5%, equal in figures to 87,8 €.

Stellantis contract: bonus and flexible benefits in 2023

In 2023 companies will also provide a bonus one-time fee of 400 euros. Payment will be made in two installments, the first in April, the second in July. Also established, this time starting from May, the disbursement of 200 euros net of Flexible Benefits expendable on the CNH, Iveco, Stellantis welfare platform and in fuel vouchers for Ferrari. Overall, during the two-year period, the workers will collect over 4.300 euros on average.

Stellantis contract: regulatory news

Rocco Palombella, secretary of Uilm and Gianluca Ficco, contact person for the automotive sector explain the innovations relating to the regulatory part of the contract: "other positive innovations for workers, such as a more balanced discipline of production recoveries, the analysis of near misses and the experimentation of training breaks, the introduction of a minimum notice for returning from layoffs of 12 hours or 24 hours before a public holiday, the introduction of vertical part-time as a work-life balance tool for shift workers”.

Also established the expansion of study permits, the improvement of the request mechanism for individual permits, the strengthening of legal protections for women victims of violence, the improvement of the factory commission system. Also confirmed agile work. They will finally be institutes two working groups, one with Stellantis and the other with CNHI and Iveco on a possible future individual reward system linked to professionalism.

"It is a particularly positive and unique result that will certainly pave the way for other national contract renewals - stated the national secretary of the Fim-Cisl Roberto Benaglia and the car manager Ferdinand Ulianus – we had made a commitment to workers to recover at the wage level the heavy cut suffered during 2022 and the inflation which will also weigh on this year. With this contract unlike other contracts, let's catch up on inflation, even that generated by imported energy and we do it in 12 months”.
