A very patriotic inauguration, complete with tricolor ribbons, that of the PSA Peugeot Citroen group in Tremery, France, on the occasion of the presentation of a new atelier.

It was also present the president of the group, Philippe Varin, who thus responds to the accusations of recent layoffs: “This new factory will create 500 new jobs, which will add to the 3720 already existing”.

The transalpine press is in fact accusing Varin of being one of the culprits of the country's industrial decline. “Quite the opposite: we produce more than we sell. In 2011 we have a positive balance of 600 thousand cars that we will export”. “Furthermore – adds the president of Peugeot Citroen – ours product is made in France: 85% of the engines are manufactured on our territory, although it would cost us much less to do it in emerging countries”.
