otb, the group founded by entrepreneur Renzo Rosso which represents an international hub in the fashion and luxury sector which includes brands such as Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, and Viktor&Rolf, has strengthened its commitment in a support for social and humanitarian initiatives. Through the Otb Foundation, the group's non-profit organization, the brand launches a new way of donating in solidarity in all its direct stores in Europe. An initiative that actively involves customers and invites them to participate in the cause, thus contributing to concrete social development projects.

A digital donation for solidarity

Starting from December and on the occasion of the Giving tuesday, a global movement that promotes generosity, Otb brand customers will be able to make a donation to the Otb Foundation during their purchases. The mode will be available in Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni direct stores and Brave Kid stores across Europe. Using the Adyen Giving System, which allows raise funds at no additional cost for the customer, the donation is made via POS terminals at the end of each purchase. An innovative and simple way to contribute to projects that make a difference, without impacting the final price of the products purchased.

Otb Foundation projects

The donations collected will support the numerous projects of Otb Foundation, which is deals with social development in Italy and the rest of the world. The foundation has always had a strong commitment to initiatives that aim to create a positive impact on four main themes: women, youth, integration and emergencies. Among the most significant projects, the following stand out:

  • An incubator on wheels in Kabul, in Afghanistan, to promote the development of women's micro-enterprises
  • A residential center for former child soldiers in Dungu, in Congo, which offers support for the social and economic reintegration of these young people
  • An online platform for work integration in Italy, which facilitates the matching of job supply and demand for people with a migrant background
  • Inflatable hospitals for humanitarian emergencies, mobile health facilities that provide quality medical care in the areas most affected by humanitarian crises
