Olivetti I-Jet, a company of Olivetti SpA, has sold the Manufacturing and Silicon Production business branches to Sicpa Italia. The transaction took place as part of the liquidation process started in June 2012.

Sicpa, which since 2013 December 3 had already acquired the research and development business branch, is a Swiss company based in Lausanne, with XNUMX employees operating worldwide in the field of the most advanced technologies for security systems and security inks, used for printing most of the world's banknotes, anti-fraud and anti-counterfeiting systems.

With this further acquisition, Sicpa Italia will employ a total of 43 people, who will continue to work at Arnad in Val d'Aosta, thus guaranteeing the technological and industrial vocation of the Arnad site.
