They won't be stratospheric increases, but they will help push up earnings for the year, which ended up in the market spotlight in the last quarter.

But let's move on to the numbers. Users who have or intend to take out can breathe a sigh of relief a basic subscription, the one without high definition and visible on only one device. In this case the price remains unchanged at 7,99 euros per month. The surcharges are reversed on Standard and Premium subscriptions.

In detail, the cost ofStandard subscription to Netflix, the one that allows you to watch series, movies, etc. in HD and simultaneously on two screens to be clear, it goes up from 10,99 to 11,99 euros per month, 12 euros more a year.

THEPremium subscription – which allows you to view content in Ultra HD and simultaneously on 4 screens – will go from 13,99 to 15,99 euros per month. 24 euros more per year.

The new rates are effective immediately for new subscribers. Those who already have a Standard or Premium subscription will receive an email and a notification within the Netflix app containing news of the price increases. The company has announced that the information will be sent at least one month before the entry into force of the new prices.
