The news of the day regarding Mps does not end here. It arrived in the morning a letter to the Government from the unions of Monte dei Paschi who ask: "The permanence of the MEF in the Group's capital for an indefinite period". According to the trade union associations, in fact, this would ensure "prospective stability for the bank's business and to optimize support for the country's real economy".
Furthermore, the trade unions believe "considering the economic and financial situation in which the banking sector has operated in recent years, that some of the bonds established with the European Commission in the original Restructuring Plan are now to be considered no longer consistent with the changed social context -economic". The plan therefore, in their opinion, should be renegotiated.
In this context, the Mps share gained 0,64% at Piazza Affari at 1,108 euros.
