Work: with the Pnrr 730 new jobs by 2026

The success of the Pnrr will have a very positive effect on work: between now and 2026, we will have 730 new jobs, of which 381 thousand women e 132 thousand young people, with an impact of +3,2% on the employment rate compared to the scenario without the plan. The strongest impacts will be generated by the digital transformation which will bring 200 more jobs, especially in the age group between 15 and 34, and the green transition another 180 thousand more. These are the results elaborated by the Randstad employment agency, based on the impact that the timely implementation of all six Pnrr missions could have, within four years, on the world of work.

According to the survey, the mission 1 – innovation, competitiveness, culture and tourism – will have the greatest impact on employment: 205 new jobs (+0,9%). To follow the mission 2 - relating to the ecological transition - which will create 182 thousand jobs (+0,8%) divided as follows: 68 thousand in the renewable energy, hydrogen and sustainable mobility sector, another 68 thousand in the field of energy efficiency and building redevelopment, another 23 thousand for circular economy, sustainable agriculture and protection of the territory and water resources.

With regard to the mission 3 – infrastructure for sustainable mobility – will add around 46 thousand seats, while the mission 4 – education and research – another 114 thousand. Finally, the mission 5 – inclusion and cohesion – will create 137 thousand and the mission 6 – relating to health – another 46 thousand.

"In addition to being an opportunity to make our country more efficient, innovative and sustainable, it is a formidable opportunity to relaunch employment, but to seize it we need a joint commitment from institutions, the world of education and businesses", he declared Mark Ceresa, CEO of Randstad.

The Enel and Elis program for the young technicians of tomorrow

Among the most quoted projects for the realization of these estimates - in the context of mission 2 - there is the new Enel-branded program "Energy to grow” which will enable the training and professional start-up of 5.500 young people in collaboration with the Elis training institution.

As pointed out by Nicola Lanzetta, director of Enel Italia, the energy transition "can generate growth opportunities for the country" and that it is "essential to involve the new generations". To manage increasingly cutting-edge electricity networks, technical figures are needed. And it was precisely with this objective in mind that the initiative of Enel ed Elis: train these operative figures and respond to needs on the national territory.

The candidates will be evaluated by Elis who will also take care of the training in the institutes certified by Accredia and the identification of professional paths. There are also reimbursements for training activities. After the five weeks of training, the candidates will be able to be hired in one of the partner companies of the energy multinational, with a fixed-term contract of at least 6 months and with the possibility of continuing the employment relationship.
