"The Quirinale has a long life to tell" having been the majestic residence of Popes and Kings for centuries before becoming the home of the President of the Republic. This is what the Head of State, Sergio Mattarella, writes in the preface of the volume "Il Quirinale", published by Treccani, which collects the photographs of the Palace by the famous photographer Massimo Listri. Ten of those giant-format photos (one meter eighty by over two meters) will be exhibited in an exhibition at the Quirinale which Mattarella will inaugurate on Monday, together with the presentation of the book with the former ministers of cultural heritage Paolucci and Bray.
From 15st to 06th March the exhibition will be open to the public and will be free, upon reservation at http//palazzo.quirinale.it or through the call center (39967557-15) or at the Montecavallo XNUMX/a ascent Infopoint.
Since the beginning of his mandate, Mattarella had announced that he would like to open the doors of the Quirinale Palace to Italians and to all those who wish to visit it and the exhibition follows exactly this logic.
