Ukraine's debt for Russian gas gets heavier. Gazprom, in fact, today presented a very high bill for methane not purchased in 2013 on the basis of the "take or pay" contractual formula: a good 11,3 billion dollars. This was announced by the export manager of the Russian giant Aleksand Medvedev.
In the year in question, according to Gazprom's accounts, Kiev would have taken only 12,9 billion cubic meters of gas, against the 41,6 billion it had committed to purchase.
