Frequency auction, 3 billion exceeded

Yesterday on the sixth day of the competition between Telecom, Wind, Vodafone and H3G, 16 bids were made, for an increase of over 46 million compared to Tuesday – The competition resumed this morning and the conclusion still seems far away.

Goes on the auction for telephone frequencies. After the sixth day of the competition, the offers exceeded 3 billion and 23 million euros. Yesterday "16 raises were made - reads a note from the Ministry of Economic Development - to acquire blocks of frequencies in both the 800 and 2.600 bands, bringing a total increase of 720.172.329 euros compared to the initial offers, or about 46.840.000 ,XNUMX euros more” than on Tuesday.

This morning from 10 the race resumes for Telecom, Wind, Vodafone and H3G. Everything will only end when there are no more relaunches for at least three consecutive rounds on the six frequency blocks in the 800 MHz band and for five rounds on the 18 blocks of the other bands (1.800, 2.000 and 2.600).
