The food and beverage industry is the sector that will most rely on women to fill the jobs planned between August and October this year. In company employment programmes, there are a total of 135 job positions for which entrepreneurs consider a female figure more suitable. 15,4% of the 875 planned personnel searches will preferably be aimed at women, 28,8% at men and 55,8% indifferently to both genders.
This is what emerges from the analysis of the Excelsior information system, carried out by Unioncamere in agreement with ANPAL, on the employment forecasts of private industrial and service companies between August and October 2017. Regardless of gender, more job opportunities will be found in general in the tertiary sector in which 613 entries are expected (70% of the total) and, of these, well over half is directed to personal services (including health, education, cultural services), trade and related services reception and catering. While within the industrial sector, to which 30% of total personnel searches are addressed, the mechanical sectors (16% of the 262 planned entries from industry), metallurgy (13%) and the food chain (13%).
The demand for labor from the North West (31% of the total Italy) is greater, particularly in services, but in the North East, led by Veneto, the search for personnel destined to cover the employment needs of industry appears to be higher than average (34,7% of expected revenues in the area).
