FINANCE AND JUSTICE - Guarguaglini (formerly Finmeccanica), the Rome Public Prosecutor files

Thirteen months ago Pierfrancesco Guarguaglini was forced to resign as chairman of Finmeccanica for being placed under investigation following the declarations of the fixer Lorenzo Cola in the investigation into false invoices. Now the rehabilitation. With an article by Marco Ludovico, "Il Sole 24 Ore" warns that the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has dismissed Guarguaglini's position.

Instead, Giuseppe Orsi remains in his place, who had taken Guarguaglini's place at the helm of Finmeccanica and who is now being investigated for international corruption and money laundering by the Naples and Busto Arsizio prosecutors.

Marina Grossi, former CEO of Selex Sistemi Integrati and wife of Guarguaglini who has always declared her own non-involvement in the charges, is on the other hand in the context of the investigation into false invoicing.

The Guarguaglini case and the media trial that followed should lead the press to some self-criticism, which loves scandalism and forgets the presumption of innocence of every suspect until actual conviction.
