The index, managed by ET.Group, evaluates the integration of ESG principles into Italian corporate strategies. Hera leads the ranking, followed by Eni (first in 2023) and Poste Italiane

La Top 10 of 2024 ofEsg Identity Corporate Index sees Hera in the lead, consolidating its lead compared to the previous year. Eni, leader in 2023, follows in second place, with Post Italian consistently in third. Getting very e Snam round out the top five. There are unlisted companies at the top Bnl Bnp Paribas, CDP e Asthma stand out, followed by Autostrade per l'Italia e Alperia. While Fiera Milano stands out as the best among listed companies outside the top 100, ahead of Sit Spa, Illimity Bank, Safilo Group e Aquafil.

The Esg Identity Corporate Index (Esg.Ici), also known as the Integrated Governance Index, reaches its ninth edition thanks to the project ET.Group. This quantitative analytical tool evaluates the integration of ESG principles into corporate strategies, increasingly emerging as a distinctive indicator in evaluating the commitment of Italian companies towards sustainability. The questionnaire involved over 300 companies, including the main players of the Ftse Mib, the companies in the Consob basket and the top 50 unlisted Italian companies, with the participation of 420 managers.

In 2024, Esg.ICI continues to be fundamental for around a hundred companies, with a response to the questionnaire approaching 30%. Significant participations came from both listed (70) and unlisted (23) companies.

The index currently covers 53% of the Ftse Mib companies and 45% of the top 100 Italian listed companies.
