It's shopping time for some Italian utilities. Erg, through its subsidiary Erg Eolienne France, has closed an agreement with Global Wind Power France for the acquisition of WP France SAS from the company Wind 1019 GmbH. The acquired company holds rights, permits and authorizations for a 6,9 MW wind farm project which has already obtained all necessary construction permits (connection to the grid is expected in Q2021 2021 and entry into exercise by December XNUMX).

The park will be in northern France, near other Erg wind farms, and will benefit from the subsidized tariff for 15 years (FIP 2016). Expected production is around 15 GWh/y. The estimated investment for the construction of the park is approximately 10 million euros, including the consideration paid for the purchase of the project. The transaction allows Erg, underlines the note, to continue to develop its portfolio in France, in line with the growth objectives envisaged in the Business Plan.

Great maneuvers even at home Edison, which today signed a binding agreement with Soleil Srl for the acquisition of Attiva, a company that sells methane to final consumers in Puglia. The transaction, which allows the acquisition of a portfolio of approximately 30 thousand customers distributed in all the municipalities of the province of Lecce and in some municipalities in the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, strengthens Edison's presence in Puglia and confirms the effectiveness of the company's development plan in the retail market.

Founded in 2003, Attiva operates through nine branches throughout the country and some commercial partnerships, supplying around 20 million cubic meters of natural gas a year to 30.000 customers, mostly on the residential market and coming from the protected market, with a high retention and an average attrition rate lower than the national average. The closing of the transaction is expected around mid-May.
