Enav, new top management: Isgrò president, Simioni CEO

The shareholders' meeting of Enav approved the company's 2019 financial statements and the appointment of the new board of directors, which is made up of nine members, with Francesca Isgrò appointed president. In turn, the Board of Directors, during the first meeting, appointed Paolo Simioni as managing director.

ENAV: THE NUMBERS OF 2019

But let's start with the numbers. The National Flight Assistance Agency closed last year's accounts, under the last management of Roberta Neri, with a Useful of 118,3 million, up 3,4% compared to 2018. I revenues instead they stood at 902,9 million (+1,5%). On the profitability side, theEbitda reached 302,9 million euros (+1,8%), while the operating result (EBIT) rose to 170,6 million (+3,4%).

The Enav shareholders' meeting also decided to pay the shareholders a dividend from 0,2094 euro per ordinary share, for a total amount of dividends of 113,2 million. The coupon will be paid on 27 May 2020, with coupon detachment date on 25 May 2020 and record date on 26 May 2020.

THE NEW ENAV BOD

For the new Board of Enav, will remain in office for the three-year period 2020-2022 (i.e. until the shareholders' meeting called to approve the financial statements at 31 December 2022) and, in addition to Isgrò, is made up of the following members: Paolo Simioni, Angela Bergantino, Fabio Pammolli, Giuseppe Lorubio, Laura Cavallo, Antonio Santi, Fabiola Mascardi and Carlo Paris. The first five names belong to the list of the Ministry of Economy (majority shareholder with 53,28%), which was voted for by 62,5% of the capital represented at the meeting; the other three instead are the expression of a group of asset management companies and institutional investors (minority shareholders with 5,10243% overall), belonging to a list that obtained 29,18% of the votes of the capital represented at the meeting .

In the case of Enav, the majority shareholder has decided to change the top management and Paolo Simioni has taken the place of Roberta Neri as managing director.

Finally, the assembly gave the green light to an operation buyback up to a maximum of 1,2 million treasury shares: "The authorization was mainly granted to service the incentive plans adopted by the company - reads in the note – as well as for activities to support market liquidity”.
