The board of directors of BuildingAcrobatics, a company specializing in external ropeway renovations, has appointed Anna Marras new CEO with responsibility for human resources. The task was entrusted to her after sudden death of his partner Riccardo Iovino, founder and CEO of the company.
The board of directors, in addition to giving Marras the necessary powers for management and business continuity, also approved the consolidated half-yearly report as at 30 June 2023.
The half-yearly report was good despite the stop to construction bonuses
In the first half of 2023, EdiliziAcrobatica has recorded a production value consolidated of 73,7 million euros, representing a 8,5% increase compared to the same period of the 2022.
The EBIT was 11 million euros, down from 23 million euros in 2022 while Ebit decreased from 20,6 million in 2022 to 7,5 million in 2023.Net income it was 3,6 million euros, down 64% compared to 10,1 million in the first half of the previous year. The decrease is due to the suspension of construction bonuses by the Italian government at the beginning of 2023; stop which negatively influenced the results.
The 2023 estimates remain positive
Despite the interruption of tax breaks, EdiliziAcrobatica recorded a growth of 50% in the number of signed contracts in the first half of the year, which leads the company to predict that, the year 2023 will end with a positive growth trend.
“It is clear that for EdiliziAcrobatica this board of directors, the first without Riccardo Iovino, is not easy from an emotional point of view. However, we are comforted by the fact that Riccardo himself had already had the opportunity to analyze and appreciate the half-yearly numbers. 2023 was a year characterized by the suspension of state subsidies, a decision that had a very strong impact on the construction sector. A repercussion which, however, in the case of Acrobatica, as always, translated into an opportunity to grow the value of production by 8,5 percentage points" commented the new CEO Anna Marras.
Title grows on the stock market
After the drop in recent days, due to the passing of Iovino, the EdiliziAcrobatica title becomes positive again. At 11am the stock gained over 5% on the stock exchange.
