The minister identified the fundamental point in restoring new life to the Italian economy in the financing channels for SMEs: in this sense, the conclusions of the European Commission and the EIB on loans to the sector are awaited.
Meanwhile, Ecofin has formalized its recommendations to Italy: in line with what has already been decided in recent weeks, Italy will have to continue implementing the reforms already underway, ensuring that the GDP deficit remains below 3% in 2013 and pursuing structural adjustment in view of the 2014 medium-term budgetary objectives.
