The Council of Ministers approved the decree law that reforms them Cohesion policies and legislative decree for review of the Irpef regime e IRES. On the eve of the CDM, the prime minister Giorgia Meloni in this last measure announced a measure to provide “a January 2025, an allowance of 100 € in favor of employees, with total income not exceeding 28.000 € with spouse and at least a dependent child, or for single-parent families with a single dependent child."

To talk about Cohesion after the Council of Ministers he is instead the minister Raffaele Fitto which paints an "unedifying picture for the effectiveness of spending" and underlines that "for the 2021-2027 programming the commitments and expenses are almost equal to zero therefore the objective is to restart resources equal to 43 billion of European resources to which are added national co-financing resources for a total amount of 75 billion". The reform, he added, "creates the conditions for the different funds to dialogue and become complementary", given that "the risk was that the funds would conflict with each other". The reform is the "final piece that" makes us use these tools better.
Fitto then announced that the Cohesion decree approved by the Council of Ministers allocates 1,2 billion euros to the implementation of interventions reclamation and redevelopment of the Bagnoli area. The objective, explains the government, is "to return to the citizens a territory abandoned for too long to decay on the outskirts of Naples and to enhance its strategic position, also with a view to the industrial relaunch of the entire South, proving the fact that the government can act concretely."

The measure, included in the Cohesion Decree approved by the Council of Ministers today, is currently addressed only to the regions of Southern Italy and is intended for the support, development and manufacturing of digital and "deep tech" technologies, as well as green ones and biotechnologies (including critical medicines on the EU list, as well as their components).
The intervention, explains the ministry, "is part of a framework of incentive measures that already covers investments above 20 million euros which, also thanks to the Pnrr measures, are finding significant effectiveness in supporting the production chains and the realization of investments aimed at the green and digital transition of businesses".
School, yes to the renewal of 6.147 school collaborators
The Council of Ministers also approved today, as part of the Cohesion Decree, the measure which renews the roles of the 6.147 school collaborators hired a fixed term in support of the projects of Pnrr and Southern Agenda, through an additional allocation of 18,5 million euros. The same provision also accelerates the use of resources - equal to approximately 450 million euros - of the national "School and skills" program 2021-2027.
