The Ministry of Economy and Finance has established the indexing coefficient for the payment of the semi-annual coupon and the capital revaluation on a semi-annual basis of Btp Italia October 2024. In this case, it is the fourteenth coupon of the BTP Italia in question.
Btp Italia 2024: semi-annual coupon at 0,635%
Al October 24, 2023, the day on which the coupon will be detached, the reference value was set at 1,00459. On this basis, the gross semi-annual coupon will be 0,635%, a percentage resulting from the sum of the indexation of the real annual coupon rate (0,176%) and the indexation of the security (0,459%).
Consequently, the amount to be paid relating to the minimum denomination of the BTP Italia in October 2024 will be 6,35 euros, an amount from which the 12,5% tax must be subtracted.
The MEF reported that the index number of 24 April 2023 (ex-dividend date of the previous coupon for the BTP Italia in October 2024), based on the FOI and used as the basis for the calculation of the indexation coefficient in the semester from 24 April 2023 to 24 October 2023, it is 118,45333.
The index number as of October 24, 2023, based on the FOI and used as the basis for calculating the indexation coefficient in the six months from October 24, 2023 to April 24, 2024, is 118,99677.
