Mediobanca has removed the shares of the telephone company from the "selected underperformers" list - Meanwhile, the dialogue announced yesterday by CEO Patuano continues with the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti for the creation of an ultra-broadband network throughout Italy.

A busy day in Piazza Affari for Telecom shares, which by mid-morning gained more than two points (to 0,7145 euros), posting one of the biggest increases in the Ftse Mib. To drag the title, Mediobanca's decision to remove the telephone company's shares from the "selected underperformers" list, in which the titles that presumably will do worse than the market appear. 

Purchases are also supported by dialogue initiated with the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti for the creation of an ultra-broadband network throughout Italy. The news was revealed yesterday by the CEO of Telecom, Marco Patuano. The technology used, that of bringing the fiber to homes, which is particularly expensive, will have to be implemented only where there is already demand that can remunerate the investment.

“There are black areas where FTTH (Fiber to the home) technology is the correct solution and therefore if the setting of the president of the CDP Franco Bassanini dogmatically remains FTTH or nothing, those are areas of collaboration and others less so,” said Patuano, responding closely to the invitation of Bassanini, who shortly before had confirmed the willingness of the CDP to participate in the financing of an investment by Telecom in the black areas, those with the highest density.
