Stock market: Ferragamo, Fiat and Mediaset rise. Rip Banca Etruria

Four titles in particular highlight at Piazza Affari: Salvatore Ferragamo, Mediaset, Fiat and Banca Etruria. The shares of the Florentine fashion house gained 2,5% in mid-morning, to 20,33 euros, in the wake of the upgrade operated by Credit Suisse, which raised the valuation from "neutral" to "outperform".

The title Mediaset, however, travels up by about two percentage points, to 2,938 euros. The purchases are the result of some press rumors that speak of an acceleration towards an agreement between Telecom Italia and Vivendi for the possible purchase of Gvt (Brazilian subsidiary of the French group on which Telefonica has already launched an offer) by Tim Brasil , controlled by the Italian telecommunications company: in recent days a source close to the situation has not ruled out that the final point of arrival could be a merger between Telecom and Mediaset, already repeatedly advocated in the past and now possible thanks to the push of Vivendi. HSBC has raised the rating on Mediaset stock from Underweight to Overweight.

As for Fiat, the recovery of the stock continues, gaining 1,6% this morning to 7,095 euros. Yesterday the Lingotto, at the request of Consob, released an article regarding the key stages of the FCA transaction and the exercise of the withdrawal, emphasizing that, even if the merger with Chrysler were cancelled, there would be no impact on relations with the American company, nor effects on the debt of the two companies, nor an increase in operating costs.

Finally, in a weak landscape for bank stocks after yesterday's rally in popular stocks, the leap of Banca Etruria, up 13,7% (after going through a volatility auction) following the news of the future transformation into SpA.
