Create an Italian Observatory on blockchain policies to promote projects related to the development of this technology in Italy and Europe. This is the project launched by the National Economic and Labor Council in collaboration with the Roma Tre University. The announcement came on Tuesday, after the Cnel assembly was held at the Villa Lubin headquarters in Rome, during which the 4 planned Commissions were set up: Information and work (with investigative and decision-making powers), Economic policies, Social policies and sustainable development, EU policies and international cooperation (investigation commission, I, II and III). The national coordination body for foreigners' social integration policies (ONC) was also set up, as required by law.
In the note released after the assembly, Cnel explains that, on the subject of the Gig Economy, the Assembly has started the discussion on the issues of protecting workers associated with platforms. The Prime Minister, Tiziano Treu, has convened the Information and Labor Commission (competent in the matter) which will meet on Thursday 21 June "with the aim of carrying out an in-depth investigation and evaluating any initiatives to be taken", the press release continues. .
President Treu has also indicated the guidelines for the self-reform of the Cnel, which will begin with the updating and revision of the regulations. "The aim is to ensure greater efficiency and speed in the drafting of opinions and other documents aimed at simplifying internal procedures - concludes the note - for the broader operations of organizations present and not present in the Cnel, through the launch of procedures public consultation open to all. Greater integration with the work of the EU Social Committee, with the Italian regions, with the Upi and the Anci will be foreseen”.
Finally, the Assembly ratified the 2018 budget, based on the rationalization of expenditure flows.
