Alitalia, more flights in the summer: Chile and Mexico make their debut

Alitalia announces an expansion of the offer starting this summer, in particular with regard to intercontinental flights which will register a 7% increase - The entire summer program includes over 4.400 weekly flights to 70 destinations worldwide and 27 in Italy: here is all the news.

Mexico, Chile, South Korea and the great return of two important North American destinations, Chicago and Los Angeles. Alitalia announces an expansion of the offer starting this summer, in particular as regards intercontinental flights which will register a 7% increase thanks to the new destinations Santiago de Chile (from 1 May) and Mexico City (from 16 June) , the strengthening of connections to Seoul and the return of flights to the two US cities.

Throughout the summer program of Alitalia provides over 4.400 weekly flights to 70 destinations worldwide and 27 in Italy. In fact, Alitalia will also enhance internal connections, bringing the North and South of the country even closer together: in fact, from 1 May a direct daily flight between Bologna and Catania and again from the Emilian city, four weekly connections will be active in August for Calabria, two for Lamezia Terme and two for Reggio Calabria.

Furthermore, on the domestic network, the airline will offer more connections from Milan to Catania and Palermo, from Turin to Naples and from Rome to Bari, Catania and Trieste. Connections with Europe are also growing: from Rome to Marseille, Nice, Prague, Tehran and Beirut and from Milan for Frankfurt and London City Airport. The usual holiday routes to Greece (Thessaloniki, Corfu, Heraklion, Mikonos, Santorini, Rhodes) and the Balearic Islands (Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca) will also be offered again in August from both Rome and Milan.
