Enel starts internal collection for the third sector

Enel puts its heart into it. The Enel Group launches internal fundraising to support the third sector. The President, Patrizia Grieco and the CEO Francesco Starace, together with all of Enel's top management have launched an internal crowdfunding campaign, through which they will allocate part of their remuneration to solidarity initiatives.

In particular, the funds raised will be disbursed for third sector organisations, the sector most affected by the current health emergency caused by Covid-19, to guarantee the activities and support them for the recovery phase.

Furthermore, Enel Heart, Enel's non-profit organization, will participate in the campaign, doubling the amount raised.

Enel Cuore Onlus, founded in 2003 by Enel Spa and the companies controlled by the Group, is responsible for supporting initiatives promoted by non-profit organisations. Demonstrating the Group's institutional philanthropic commitment.

There are numerous measures approved by the non-profit organization to support the main realities affected by the virus, intended both for projects that have already been identified and for future projects yet to be defined. So far they have been allocated 23 million euros to support hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the country.
