With its new parental policy Sit SIT has added paid leaves and special leaves for new fathers, up to 700 euros more in welfare for new parents and enhances smart working before and after the birth

Welfare, Sit Group: new parental policy to support parents

sit, a multinational that creates intelligent solutions for controlling environmental conditions and for measuring consumption, has created a new parental policy a parental support.
The company's goal is to support to promote and support the parenthood through during two phases: in prenatal period, in order to facilitate preparation for the baby's arrival e in the immediately following period from the arrival of the child up to the age of three, in order to favor the recovery and the work-life balance.
The measures are added to those provided for by the CNL and by current legislation.
The parental policy will be applied to all employees of SIT and MeteRSit Italia who announce a maternity and/or paternity, whether natural or adoptive and will enter into effective from 1 March 2023.

What does Sit's new parental policy provide?

sit it inserted different sizes within the new parental policy among which:

  • 5 additional paid days of leave for new fathers to be used within the first year of the child's life or within the first year of joining the family
  • 700 euros of "welfare on top" to support parents with children up to 3 years of age
  • 15 days of smart working per month during the first month of returning to work after compulsory leave
  • 3 paid leaves for dads to attend prenatal visits
  • work in total smart working to manage the stay abroad in case of international adoption
  • an additional paid leave per year to accompany children up to the age of 14 to medical visits
  • special conditions for the children of SIT and MeteRSIT employees to participate in the after-school services and summer camps of the SIT Foundation – Sport, Inclusion, Talento in Padua.
