Matteo Trentin doubles reinforcing his green jersey as leader of the points standings. In Tarragona he had won by detaching the entrance ticket to the club of riders who have put their signature on at least one stage of the Vuelta, Tour and Giro: in all there are a hundred and curiously there is no Froome who snubs the Giro.
Yesterday at El Pozo Alimentacion, beating a fast wheel like that of the Spanish Rojas, Trentin also gave Italy its third victory in this Vuelta. A good booty if you think of the total starvation in the last Tour and only one success in the Giro, that of Nibali in Bormio in the double Stelvio stage.
