Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I announced the entry of new investors institutional in its composition. Fof Infrastructure, handled by Cdp Real Asset Sgr, and codes have undertaken capital commitments respectively equal to 35 million and 50 million of euros. At the same time, the European Investment Fund (Fei) has increased its Participation, bringing the overall commitment to 100 million euro.
The Luxembourg-based fund focuses on value-add infrastructure investments in the European mid-market. Investments are targeted at infrastructure assets deemed aligned with long-term structural trends, including clean and distributed energy, decarbonized mobility and logistics, digital infrastructure, and social infrastructure.
Investment activities, pipeline and operational structure
According to the announcement, since the start of origination activity in the first quarter of 2023, over 370 investment opportunities have been analyzed. This process led to the completion of six transactions between March 2024 and August 2025: Rad-x, Eag Bioenergy, SAF, BioHold, Thésée, and Terakraft. The fund is currently evaluating two to four additional investments, with the goal of building a total portfolio of eight to ten holdings.
Vesper Infrastructure Partners acts as advisor to the fund manager, FundRock LIS SA, an AIFM authorized and regulated in Luxembourg. The fund is structured as a closed-end alternative investment vehicle and is aimed at institutional investors.
With this latest capital infusion, the fund continues its process of raising and allocating resources to infrastructure projects in several European countries, amid growing attention to investments related to the energy, digital, and social transitions.
