The Poste Italiane group could evaluate a new investment in the Atlante Fund if requested. This was indicated by the president Maria Bianca Farina who therefore does not rule out the possibility of still supporting the shareholder Fund of Popolare Vicenza and Veneto Banca. The Poste group has invested 260 million euros in Atlante through Poste Vita. “One can never say a priori,” she replies to reporters on the sidelines of a speech at a conference held by the reinsurer Swiss Re.
“At the moment they haven't asked us and it's not on the agenda; when there should be (the request, ed) we would carry out an analysis of the risks and the interests of the company which must be remunerated given that it manages customers' savings and must be very careful”. Farina explains that the type of intervention requested by Atlante will have to be evaluated, the choices of which depend on the manager of the Fund, Quaestio Sgr.
