Waltz publish the accounts and fly to the stock exchange. The Bologna-based company, leader in the Italian market of soy-based vegetable products, in fact recorded a turnover of 2013 million euros in 100,4 (preliminary data) with an overall increase of 7,6% compared to the previous year , marking a +6% on the Stock Exchange (on a negative day for Piazza Affari).
The result - reads a note from the company - is clearly superior to the trend of the Italian food market and was obtained thanks to growing attention to the health needs of consumers.
The BoD has also appointed Andrea Panzani to the position, currently not held within the company, of general manager of Valsoia. The general manager will report to the managing director Furio Burnelli. The appointment takes effect from 4 February 2014.
