Holidays, the new trend is travel in installments

More and more Italian tour operators are agreeing with banks to offer their customers the possibility of deferring the payment of their trips - Reasonable interest, but watch out for Tan and Taeg.

Holidays, the new trend is travel in installments

Leave today, pay tomorrow. More and more often now, even the holidays they pay in installments, because even if there is a crisis, Italians don't want to give up a nice trip around the world. And therefore there are more and more tour operators, airlines and shipping companies entering into agreements with banks to offer their customers the possibility of repaying their debt in comfortable installments.

The rip off? There isn't, or rather, there isn't in most cases. The only thing that needs to be looked at carefully when signing the contract is the Tan (annual interest rate, often close to zero) and, above all, the APR (annual percentage rate of charge).

Thus, even those who do not have almost four thousand euros on their nails can afford a holiday at Constance Halaveli, in the Maldives, paying in six monthly installments and with total interest of only 70 euros. A trend, that of travel by installments, which now involves the majority of operators, from Viaggidea (Group Alpitour) to Francorosso, up to Tirrenia and Alitalia, which, for purchases over 400 euros, offers payment formulas in 20 months , with more than reasonable interest.

So let's get ready to go. We'll pay the bill later.
