Usa: retail sales in March beyond expectations at +0,8%

The Commerce Department released its March retail sales figure: +0,8% versus forecasts of +0,3% – February data revised down from +1,1% a +1% – Car and petrol sales are growing.

Very good the data on retail sales in the United States, which grew by 0,8% in March compared to last month, at 411,07 billion dollars well over the +0,3% expected. This was announced by the Department of Commerce which at the same time revised the February figure downwards, from +1,1% to +1%.

Sales of cars and auto components, on the other hand, advanced by 0,9% and that of petrol by 1,1%, while on an annual basis, the increase recorded in March was equal to 6,5%.
