Usa-Russia: Putin does not expel anyone

There will be no retaliation from the Kremlin. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he will not expel US diplomats in response to the expulsions of Russian officials ordered by Barack Obama.

Putin described the moves of the outgoing US administration as "provocative", and that he reserves for himself "the right of retaliation", the exercise of which will be subject to an assessment of the policy adopted by the elected US president, Donald Trump.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced plans to expel 35 US diplomats from Russia. “We will act according to the principle of reciprocity,” Lavrov said. But Putin did not listen to him.
