In the United States, private sector employment increased by 216 in February. The estimate of Adp, a company specializing in outsourcing human resource management, is slightly higher than expectations which indicated an increase of 215 jobs. As usual, the official data from the Department of Labor on employment is expected on Friday, which also includes the performance of the public sector.
The data on the US nonfarm productivity rate for the fourth quarter of 2011. The rate has been revised upwards to +0,9% from +0,7%. The figure for all of 2011 stands at +0,4%, the lowest increase since 1995.
