UP AND DOWN - Diego Della Valle avalanches against Elkann, Pagliaro and Nagel: "They wanted the Corriere"

Diego Della Valle can't rest over the turnaround in RCS and shoots zero against Fiat and Mediobanca: "They wanted the Corriere". In an interview given to the Milanese newspaper, the entrepreneur from the Marche judges John Elkann and Renato Pagliaro "inadequate to manage such important and complex things" such as the reorganization and relaunch of Rcs-Corriere della Sera which, in his opinion, would immediately require the sale of Flammarion and the property in via San Marco in Milan. But Della Valle is especially angry with the top management of Mediobanca and maintains that “Alberto Nagel and Renato Pagliaro (editor's note and president of the Piazzetta Cuccia institute), when they were general managers of Mediobanca they were a point of reference. Today I think they fill roles beyond their abilities: one cannot think that the world is restricted to four streets in Milan and does not range from Italy to the rest of the world. And it is not enough, as in RCS, to be a shareholder in a company to be considered the only advisor. I hope – concludes Della Valle – that in the next assembly Nagel and Pagliaro will be able to say what are the projects for the future and the mission of the institute”.

Della Valle, after the stormy meeting of the last RCS board of directors, has decided to leave the syndicate pact and is preparing to do battle.
